Policies

In order to avoid any confusion at the time you pick up your pet, we would like to be certain you are aware of our policies in caring for boarding animals. These policies are to ensure the safety and health of your pet.

First Time Customers

We do require a 100% deposit for first time customers upon dropping off your pet. We ask that you please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to closing to allow sufficient time to complete boarding paperwork.

Vaccination Requirements

You must provide proof that a licensed veterinarian has vaccinated your pet and that vaccines are current. Should your pet require vaccinations, we can provide this service for you, however we strongly encourage you to vaccinate your pets 30 days prior to boarding for maximum protection against possible disease. This also provides an opportunity for you to talk with your veterinarian about the best wellness plan for your pets.

Dogs:

  • DA2PP-CCV Vaccine
  • Rabies Vaccine
  • Bordetella Vaccine

Cats:

  • FVRCP Vaccine
  • Rabies Vaccine for felines is now mandatory

If your pet needs to be vaccinated please contact Alta Vista Veterinary Hospital at 602-277-1464 or visit their website.

In the event that we are unable to reach you and the treatment required is urgent, we WILL treat your pet and you will be responsible for the charges incurred.

Leaving Items With Your Pet

Please do not leave any items with your pet that must be returned. Items such as leashes, collars, towels, toys, etc. are sometimes misplaced during routine cleaning of the kennels or bathing of your pet. Treats and/or anything disposable are more than welcome!
