  • Here we answer your most common questions

    Q. How old does your pet have to be for boarding?

    A. We recommend that your pet is fully vaccinated prior to
boarding. Typically the minimum age that they are fully
vaccinated is 4 months. If you have a puppy or elderly dog with
special needs please contact us to make arrangements.

    Q. What are your vaccination requirements? What kind of proof do
    I need to provide?

    A. Canines must be vaccinated against the distemper, parvovirus
(commonly known as the 5 in 1 vaccine or 7 in 1 vaccine) within 1
year, the bordatella vaccine (kennel cough) within 6 months, and
the rabies vaccine within 1 year for puppies and 3 years for
adult dogs. Bordatella vaccine is to be given at least 14 days
    prior to boarding.
Felines must be vaccinated against feline leukemia, distemper,
    and rabies within 1 year.
Proof must be provided by a licensed Veterinarian.

    Q. Does your facility require a flea and tick treatment?

    A. Yes, each dog that stays with us is required to have a topical
dose of Frontline at check-in time. The cost for this treatment
is $15 and lasts for 1 month. If your pet has already been
treated within the last month please provide a receipt of
    purchase at check-in time.

    Q. What if my pet becomes ill while boarding?

    A. We have several Veterinarians on staff. If your pet becomes
ill while boarding you will be contacted immediately. If we
cannot reach you, your pet will be treated at your expense by one
    of our experienced Veterinarians.

    Q. How often do you feed your guests? What do you feed? May I
    bring my own food?

    A. We feed all our furry guests as per your instructions. If your
pet is on a schedule let us know at check-in time so we can make
sure to continue your schedule. Our canine guests receive "iVet
Professional Formula" dry food and our feline guests receive
"Science Diet" dry food. We also encourage you to bring your own
    food if desired.

    Q. Can my pets stay together in the kennel?

    A. We strongly recommend that pets eat and sleep in seperate
kennels. However, if you feel that your pets would prefer to be
together, we will do our best to accomodate them. Pets from the
same family are welcome to play together during the day, either
in a kennel or in one of our play yards.

    Q. Do you offer group playtimes?

    A. Yes, for an additional fee your pet may get to know and play
with other dogs! Your dog must be dog-friendly and be
spayed/neutered if older than 6 months to participate in group
playtimes (individual playtime is included in the boarding cost).
We perform temperament testing to find playgroups that are most
compatible in play style and personalities.

    Q. Do I need reservations to board my pet?

    A. We do ask that you call ahead prior to boarding with us just
to ensure we have room and the size kennel required for your
pet(s). You are welcome to fill out necessary paperwork ahead of
time by downloading the forms on our website. This will save you
a few minutes when dropping off your pets.

    Q. Can you administer medication?

    A. Yes, we will administer any medication for a small fee. We can
get all the specific information at check-in time.

    Q. Can I bring my pets toys or bedding?

    A. We don't recommend that you bring toys or bedding. We happily
provide these things for your pet. If you feel that certain items
would make your pet's stay more comfortable, please make sure
that they are properly labeled. Some pets become destructive when
boarding; if your pet destroys it's bed or toy we will dispose of
it. Occasionally personal items are lost during our daily
cleaning routines so please do not bring any items of value.

    Q. Can my pet catch an illness from being boarded?

    A. Yes, We do take all necessary precautions so that your pet is
protected while boarding but they do have the risk of contracting
illnesses anytime they are in contact with other pets.

    Q. What are your hours for drop-off and pick-up?

    A. We are open 7 days a week! You can drop-off or pick-up your
    pet Monday-Friday 7am-8pm, Saturday 7am-6pm, and Sunday 7am-6pm.
We recommend that you arrive no later than 30 minutes before
closing so that your pet has time to adjust before going to bed.

    Q. Where are you located?

    A. 4730 N. 7th Ave, 3 blocks south of Camelback.
Boarding and Grooming drop-off and pick-up is located north of
Elm on the south side of the building.
